Maple Coconut Butter Buttons (AIP, Paleo, Keto, Whole30)

Makes: ~30 buttons

Prep time:

  • 1/2 cup coconut butter
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup (optional) or maple extract for Whole30
  • Instructions:
    1. In a microwave safe bowl, heat the coconut butter, coconut oil, vanilla, and maple syrup, about 1 minutes.
    2. Mix until evenly combined and then fill into a zip-lock bag. Place the bag in the frige for about 5 minutes, in order to let the mix set a bit.
    3. Lay out a piece of tin foil or parchment paper over a plate that can fit back into the fridge. Cut the tip of the zip lock bag and carefully pipe little buttons onto the tin foil. Place the buttons in the fridge and allow them to set before using them to decorate or before eating them on their own! Store in the refrigerator.
