Maple and Thyme Salmon (AIP, Paleo)
Maple and Thyme Salmon (AIP, Paleo, Keto, Whole30)
Makes: 2 fillets
- 2 8-oz salmon fillets
- Salt, to season
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 5 sprigs of fresh thyme
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Season the salmon fillets liberally with salt. Set aside.
- In a small pot over medium heat, add the balsamic, maple syrup, olive oil, and thyme. Simmer for 5 minutes and remove from heat.
- Lay down the fillets on a large piece of tin foil. Pour the maple glaze over the fillets. Add the sprigs of thyme and wrap the fillets in the tin foil.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, until fillets begin to flake. Serve immediately.
