Maple and Thyme Salmon (AIP, Paleo, Keto, Whole30)

  • 2 8-oz salmon fillets
  • Salt, to season
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 5 sprigs of fresh thyme
  • Instructions:
    1. Preheat oven to 350F.
    2. Season the salmon fillets liberally with salt. Set aside.
    3. In a small pot over medium heat, add the balsamic, maple syrup, olive oil, and thyme. Simmer for 5 minutes and remove from heat.
    4. Lay down the fillets on a large piece of tin foil. Pour the maple glaze over the fillets. Add the sprigs of thyme and wrap the fillets in the tin foil.
    5. Bake for 15-20 minutes, until fillets begin to flake. Serve immediately.
