Sephardic Charoset (Paleo, Whole30)
Makes: 4 servings
- 1 cup grape juice
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/4 cup dates, pitted, roughly chopped
- 1/4 cup dried apricots, roughly chopped
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- In a large saucepan or pot, bring grape juice to a simmer over medium heat. Stir in the dried fruit and cinnamon. Cook uncovered until fruit is well hydrated and grape juice has reduced to a thick syrup, about 15 minutes.
- In a food processor, add fruit mixture and pulse until fruit begins to come together into a paste.
